Five-session written trauma protocol. You write about the event in session with a clinician. Shorter than PE or CPT.
VA/DoD suggests WET. Useful when time or dropout risk is high. Not as heavily studied in veterans as PE/CPT/EMDR, but it is in the guideline.
Some VA PTSD teams and trained civilian clinicians. Ask for WET by name.
Still exposure to the memory. Brief does not mean casual.
